Call me, Glen Heath, the sole owner and operator of AA Carpet Repairs.

Speak directly with the person advising on and repairing your carpet. I take responsibility and accountability for my work with my reputation for exceptional standards built on over 30 years experience in all aspects of the carpet trade and now specialising in problem solving the small jobs to repair and extend the life of your carpet for a fraction of the cost of replacement and enable renters to secure the return of their bond money. I have developed a strong reputation within Brisbane and the surrounding areas for providing an outstanding carpet repair service at competitive prices.

As supported by testimonials and Google reviews, I pride myself on prompt, friendly, reliable and professional service with an honest appraisal of each repair at affordable rates. Praised for my quick response and great communication, I can be contacted by phone, text, email or the website online form. Forwarding photos of the damaged area(s) assists me to assess the extent of damage, advise the type of repair and provide an accurate obligation free quotation without requiring an onsite visit. I provide you a mutually agreed day and time for your repair work and in the rare circumstance that I may be late, will call ahead to advise.

Trip hazards, especially such as loose or damaged stair treads may be repaired by refitting the carpet back onto the gripper rod underneath.  Individual treads that have become worn or damaged by pets can be replaced without the entire staircase requiring replacement and so extend the life of the carpet in the room and save you money.

carpet patch may be the answer to make unsightly tears, pot plant stainspet damageiron burnscigarette burnspulled threadssplit seams disappear or perhaps you require the fixing of carpet to tile edge. If your carpet needs to be fitted up to a tiled edge, dependent on tile thickness, there are two options to be considered – flush to tile edge or a multi-strip which covers both the edge of the carpet and the tile. Pulling away from tiles may be able to be repaired by a simple re-stretch and trim or the installation of a multi-strip that is available in a variety of colours. If too wide a gap, such as greater than 40mm, then a patch is the only option.

What do you need?  A spare matching piece of original carpet is required for the patch repair and is generally sourced from the floor inside a built in cupboard or wardrobe (NOT walk-in robe) or from off cuts that have been made into mats. Repairs in high traffic areas or with sun exposure will show a colour difference initially, however improve and blend in with the surrounding area in time.

I strive for invisible patches and complete all jobs using the latest available equipment with radiowave technology, enabling me to cut only the damaged area out and bond a patch to surrounding carpet.  All cut edges are sealed to prevent future fraying, ensuring the customer gets the best possible results both visually and long lasting. The patch will withstand general wear and tear, vacuuming and steam cleaning and last the lifetime of the surrounding carpet.

Renovations or accidental damage, be sure to explore repair options before replacing the whole room floor covering.
